AgroRemed: For Cleanup of Petroleum Contaminated Soils
AgroRemed is effective in cleanup of petroleum contaminated soils in short periods of time, typically reduces the TPH content by more than 90% within 3 weeks when conditions are favorable. In most cases application of AgroRemed is one time only. It essential that the soil is moist for survival of the oil-eating bacteria and this is achieved by wetting the soil with chlorine free water during dry and warmer perriods and cover the soil with straw to prevent both evaporation and maintain constant temperature conditions in the soil. Of course for special considerations, please contact our technical team.
AgroRemed works
AgroRemed has been used recently for cleanup of a petroleum contaminated site in a shipyard in Virginia. The contaminated site was sprayed with AgroRemed and poured in the soil where concentrations were high. Even after more than one year, the site is free from any free product in the ground water.
