Cleanup of open water spill in a mine
Diesel Oil Spill in contained water in berm
There was a fuel oil spill from the tanks into the surrounding water as can be seen by a light sheen over the water. The volume of spill was not very large but the area of the spill was very large and the the volume of water in the berm. Only option available for the operators was to absorb the spilled oil using a boom and unfortunately it sank releasing more oil.

Spill after spray with SpillRemed
The photograph shows a change in the color from dark to lighter due to the effect of bacterial action in SpillRemed (Industrial)
Six weeks later water is clear
Only two applications of SpillRemed (Industrial) were made and bacteria continued to work on the spill even under temperatures below freezing. At the end of 6 weeks water was free from any sheen or trace of oil and was discharged into the waste stream. As SpillRemed is effective in the ratio of 1 gallon to 10 gallons of fuel the total cost for the product was less than $ 500.00 US Dollars and with no supervision or any additional costs for disposal.
