Composition

It is an oleophilic suspension of oil degrading bacterial consortium of freshwater origin. The oleophilic matrix is of commercially available vegetable oil and is non hazardous.

First Aid

The product is harmless on inhalation. Wash the skin with cold running water if in contact with skin and apply anti-bacterial solution over the area and wash the area with soft liquid or bath soap to remove traces of vegetable oil. If the product is in contact with eye, wash the eye with cold water and contact an eye specialist. If the product is ingested, the person should be treated at a hospital and the doctor should be shown the MSDS.

Fire fighting: No special precautions necessary.

Accidental release: During an event of an accidental spill, it will be best to mop the spill and collect it in a safe container. The product may cause the floor slippery and proper precautions should be taken. In case of fire, fire to be controlled by foam.

Handling & storage: Should be handled with care so that the container is not damaged and the contents are not spilled. Store in cool place. Do not refrigerate. 

Protection: Wear protective gloves and wash hands with soap water and anti bacterial solution.

Properties: VaporRemed is a 5% suspension of vegetable oil in fresh water containing a consortium of oil degrading bacteria. It is not flammable or hazardous.

Stability & reactivity: The product is stable over a long period of time if stored at 32 ° to 92 ° F in well ventilated area away from open flame.

Ecotoxicology: Product is a bioremediation product and has been found to efficiently degrade hydrocarbon constituents. Safe in aqueous environment since it does not show toxicity to life as determined by an independent laboratory tests.

Disposal: Product can be disposed off in normal manner as per federal laws or state laws for such products.

Transportation: Road, air and ship.
