AgroRemed AgroRemed is effective in cleanup of petroleum contaminated soils in short periods of time, typically reduces the TPH content by more than 90% within 3 weeks when conditions are favorable. In most cases application of AgroRemed is one time only. It essential that the soil is moist for survival of the oil-eating bacteria and this is achieved by wetting the soil with chlorine free water during dry and warmer periods and cover the soil with straw to prevent both evaporation and maintain constant temperature conditions in the soil. AgroRemed offers a "Green Remediation" because it is non-invasive, reduces production of air pollutants, low energy inputs, no waste generation and thus reduces "Environmental Footprints" effectively and supporting the EPA's goal in improving environmental management. SpillRemed (Marine) SpillRemed (Marine) is wholly manufactured in the USA. SpillRemed (Marine)® is included in the National Contingency Product list of US EPA as a bioremediation agent for in-situ treatment of open water oil spills and for shoreline cleanup. SpillRemed (Marine)® is effective even on weathered oil and can be introduced at any time in the lifecycle of the spill unlike other Oil Spill Dispersant (OSD): immediately after a spill or after completing the setting up of response and recovery facilities. SpillRemed (Marine) is effective on small spills and also on large spills and improves the ecosystem by reducing the toxic effect of the spill and is thus a DIY solution for small boat operators and marinas. Unlike chemical dispersants, SpillRemed (Marine)® is also effective on weathered oil providing a safety net in the spill-response decision-making process. SpillRemed (Industrial) SpillRemed (Industrial) manufactured in the USA is used for industrial applications that need to remediate oil spills under fresh water or reduced salinity conditions. Our customers are metal recycling industry, mining, port maintenance and aviation industry to name a few. Successful cleanup fuel oil spill in a mine has been shown even under low temperature conditions in Canada. BilgeRemed Discharge of oily bilge water in an environmentally safe manner is a frequent operational overhead for ships and boats that are equipped with oily water separators (OWS). Smaller vessels that cannot house an OWS due to lack of space the situation is more complex as they have to use absorbent pads or socks to remove oil from the water and dispose of the material at a marina or a harbor. Pretreatment of oily bilge water with BilgeRemed in oily bilge holding tank reduces the possibilities of release of bilge water exceeding the international limit of 15 ppm of oil set by International Maritime Organization. BilgeRemed has been found to be effective in both ships during sailing and those berthed at the shore and has reduced the TPH of the water in the bilge holding tank to 5 ppm in 3 weeks time. HydroRemed HydroRemed is a bioremediation solution for treatment of free product in ground water at the site itself. HydroRemed is injected into the groundwater to remediate free product as well as and once the free product is remediated BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene) compounds are reduced to accepted levels. Ground water is often defecient in oxygen therefore, HydroRemed is saturated with air for about 12 hours using fish air bubbler or a compressed air pump before adding to the ground water and is added weekly for better results.
